Through the Cassette Culture Podcast (https://cassetteculturepodcast.com/), I found out about Copy This Cassette fanzine. I tried to order a copy, but the postage was something of a downer. I asked the publisher if I could get PDFs and Xerox them here, then sell them, with perhaps better postage for European customers. So, this is only for European customers!

In the words of D. Blake Werts:

COPY THIS CASSETTE! is my humble attempt at an info-news-review zine assembled by and for cassette fans. This project grew out of an email conversation with Joshua James Amberson concerning the lack of information about current cassette releases offered by independent tape labels, especially in zine format. Yes, I understand there’s the Internet and all, but even here we’re not seeing near as much attention as was happening five to ten years ago. Thankfully Tabs Out podcast is still rolling; however, the Cassette Gods blog has been on hiatus for a while.

My goal with COPY THIS CASSETTE! zine is to help you find more great music to add to your daily routine. If I’m successful, my words about a release I’ve just heard will spur you on to grab yourself a copy. Even better, you’ll seek out other work by these artists.

These are only available to customers in Europe (and yes, that includes peripheral countries such as the UK, Switzerland and Norway). For now, I assume not many people in Europe have these, so I’m bundling all five. Should you really want a specific issue, then please send me an email, and I will sort this out for you.
